a.        “Hydrocarbon prospect in deep offshore areas of Bangladesh”  ‘The Financial Express on 22 December 2016

"Oil & gas prospect in Bangladesh is very potential and have gas discovery through a belt from north east to down trend middle east and south - south eastern part of Bangladesh. Sangu gas field is only offshore discovery which is shut it down now. Oil discovery was only at Haripur in Sylhet and no more in production track. Bangladesh is still at back on petroleum exploration and could not reach to an expected level of success. Bangladesh won the arbitration on International sea territory and opens a vast area for oil & gas exploration in offshore might be highly prospective for hydrocarbon.

It will not be very surprising if a giant oilfield is hiding beneath deep sea of Bengal basin. Bangladesh is spending huge foreign currency on importing crude oil and drawing back sustainable development of country. It is now appropriate time to focus on petroleum exploration in vast offshore area with a great hope of black gold."

b.  “Crude oil price create maximum utilization scope”  https://energynewsbd.com/details.php?id=963 on 17 May 2017

"No scope of increasing international crude oil price within the next 5years and it will be within the bench mark of US$45-60/barrel as because the oil production is still surplus in OPEC and other oil exporting countries. Even after cut the production of crude oil by OPEC the price is still fluctuating around US$50/barrel. Since 2016 USA increase the production of fracking shale oil and this year USA increase the drilling rig operation around 15%, indicates the increase of crude oil production will affect the price to keep at low within the bench mark of US$45-60/barrel, suppose to be standard for international oil market and may continue this price till 2022."

c. “Sustainable development depends on petroleum exploration in deep sea”https://energynewsbd.com/details.php?id=1314 on 6 January 2019

"Bangladesh is now on stair of developing country and might give concentration on catalyst of development. For sustainable development need attention on own sources of raw materials and deep sea exploration may find out the way. Dependency on LNG imports may thwart the dream of developed nation. If we look at Myanmar, Thailand and Malaysia can see they have big discovery of oil & gas in deep sea. Bengal delta is one of the active delta similar to Niger delta, one of the hydrocarbon reach delta in world. Why not Bengal delta have good reserve of hydrocarbon beyond Niger delta."

d. “Geopressure signify potential hydrocarbon reservoir in offshore Bangladesh” https://energynewsbd.com/details.php?id=1341 on 20 February 2019

"Geopressure and its superficial effects has long played an important role in petroleum exploration. There is always an element of risk with any drlling operation but the presence of abnormally pressured sequences can significantly increase these difficulties, successful drilling requires the use of every means of detection at  our disposal. Hydrocarbon exploration and petroleum reservoir characteristics in Bengal delta is much more affected by geopressure anomalies and before drilling need analysis the regional geology of prospect area. Hydrocarbon reservoir does not depend on artificial man made boundary of country but depends on regional geological history. Hence discussing hydrocarbon reservoir status in coastal & offshore part of Bangladesh considering subsurface geopressue of regional geology."

e.   “How Bangladesh can cash in on record low oil prices, The Daily Star”. https://epaper.thedailystar.net/Home/ShareArticle?OrgId=234886ba&imageview=1  on 13 April 2020

"Energy is the prime object for development of a country and directly or indirectly, it plays an important role on revenue generation of country. Crude oil is key energy source and leading the world economy. At this critical moment of Corona pandemic, I do highlight on oil price as Bangladesh lose huge amount of foreign currency every year on importing crude oil and it has great impact on economy.

Oil price was in a standard range of US$45-60/barrel for the last 3-4 years but sudden outbreak of Corona (Covid-19) largely affects the international oil market. Wide spreading of Corona virus in fast world greatly affects the world economy as well as on oil price. Most of the Corona infected countries go for the tough decision of lockdown and it stopped the rotary motion of world economy."
